Sinful Cinnamon Sugar Protein Donuts
Ingredients:
Donut
1 cup whey vanilla protein powder
1⁄4 cup coconut flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
Dash nutmeg
Dash cinnamon
Coating
1⁄2 teaspoon coconut oil, melted
2 tablespoons erythritol
1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Combined all donut ingredients, excluding coating ingredients.
Spoon into ziplock bag, close ziplock and cut off corner, then add mix into donut pan (silicone donut pans works great).
Bake for bout 10 minutes or until firm. DO NOT overcook, when cooking with whey protein it can be very dry.
Remove from oven and let cool.
Remove from pan.
Mix erythritol and cinnamon in a bowl.
Brush each donut with melted coconut oil and dip into coating.
