Lemon Garlic Shrimp
Zesty Garlic Shrimp
Ingredients:
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1/4 cup white wine (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and cooked through.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the lemon juice, chicken or vegetable broth, and white wine (if using). Stir to combine and let it simmer for a few minutes until the liquid is reduced by half.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
