Spicy Asian Chicken
Fiery Asian Chicken Delight
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon peanut oil (can use other oil of choice as well)
Salt & Pepper
Garnish with toasted sesame seeds
Sauce Ingredients:
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoons garlic purée
1 teaspoon ginger purée
1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce (can add more
depending how spicy you like it)
1 tablespoon coconut sugar
Preparation:
Whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic purée, ginger purée, coconut sugar, and stevia. Trim chicken pieces, removing fat.
Heat the oil in a 12-inch frying pan.
When the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook over medium-high heat just until the chicken start to brown, about 4 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium low, add the sauce, and continue to cook the chicken in the sauce, turning a few times, just until chicken pieces are cooked through and glazed with sauce, about 4-5 minutes longer. Do not overcook or the chicken will be tough.
Garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
