Turkey Stuffed Peppers
Turkey-licious Stuffed Peppers
Ingredients:
1.5l b ground turkey
2 teaspoon minced garlic
2 1⁄2 cups of salsa (any flavor)
6 medium size bell peppers 1⁄2 cup minced
2 teaspoons dried parsley
salt & pepper
Shredded cheese (kind of your choice)
1 cup cooked white rice
Chopped fresh parsley (for topping)
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
Place peppers in a deep dish pan & cover with foil.
Cut the top off each bell pepper and empty inside the bell pepper.
In a skillet, cook ground beef.
Drain ground beef.
Add onion & garlic.
Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Remove ground beef, onion, & garlic mixture from skillet and add to a large bowl.
Add white rice, salsa, 1⁄2 cup shredded cheese, dried parsley, salt & pepper to a large bowl.
Mix everything together.
Then proceed to fill each pepper with filling.
Place in the oven and bake for 50 mins.
Once the timer goes off, remove from the oven and add the desired amount of shredded cheese on top of each pepper.
Place back in the oven for 10 minutes.
Once the timer goes off again, remove from the oven. Let cool for 5-10 minutes.
Then add fresh parsley on top. Enjoy!
