Air Fried Cod
Crispy Cod Delight
Ingredients:
4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Olive oil cooking spray
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Beat the eggs in another shallow dish.
Put the panko breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
Dip each cod fillet in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Then dip it in the beaten egg, letting any excess drip off. Finally, coat it in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the fish to help them adhere.
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded cod fillets in the basket, being careful not to overcrowd them.
Spray the tops of the cod fillets with cooking spray.
Air fry the cod for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
Serve the air fried cod with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
